PLAY IT AGAIN JAM

Hilly House B' caused stir in the Dudley League Division 6 game against Coseley Athletic when the final result of the game was questioned.

Jamie Beddow who went on 4th for the Hilly House lost his game 17-21 but when the matchcard came to be signed after the match Coseley Athletic claimed that the actual score was 13-21 and therefore instead of a win for the Hilly House it should have been a win for Coseley.

Following a heated debate it was finally agreed to replay Jamie's game the following evening starting from 5-9.

The young Hilly House star used his annoyance to great advantage going on to win the rematch.

After all was said and done Hilly House ended with an even better points tally than would have been the case if the card had not been questioned..

Why the offending matchcard (pictured right) was questioned is unknown ?????

YOU WOULDN'T LIKE ME WHEN I'M ANGRY

An angry Julie Bullock was seething during a Dudley League game in 2007 and set about destroying her opponent 21-1 following an argument during a rain affected game.

Hilly House secretary has dealt with the matter 'in-house' by telling all Julie's team-mates to prod her with a stick before going onto the green. "She was awesome but scary"

DOUBLE DUTCH

An internet enquiry lead to the Hilly House signing a player new to the game in 2007, Micky Holland, was unveiled at the club's Sid Jones Memorial Competition.

Hilly House Monday night captain, acted quickly upon hearing the news that the former Thai business man had also signed for Netherton Cons and selected him for the team.
