Mr Tall had not slept
since becoming Hilly House Secretary

"The club has not got
enough members." |
Mr Tall went to visit
the old secretary

Mr Worry asked him to
drop a team out of the Smethwick League |
Mr Grumpy was also
struggling to pick a team for the game

"I'm going to quit as
captain" he told himself |
Mr Small saw Mr
tall's long face and asked what the problem was.

"I've not played for
14 years but I'll join." he said |
Mr Small and Mr tall
set off to find the other members

Mr & Mrs Happy were
watching Mr Taylor |
|
"As long as Taylor is
playing, it'll be fun." they said

They set off to find
someone else. |
Mr Bump was on his
way to Sedgley Ex.

"I guess I'll have to
save the club, you need great bowlers like me." |
The checked in at the
green to visit the groundsman

Mr Fussy was locking
the green to keep the seniors off. |
"Look at what they've
done to my beautiful grass"

"It's all bent."
Mr Fussy agreed to
let teams play on the green this season. |
Mr Bump asked the
Seniors to play on Saturdays while making the tea.

"We don't play league
matches." came the expected reply. |
|
Mr Tall & Mr Small
had tried everyone they could think of.

They decided to give
up and go to the game. |
Mr Invisible had to
make his debut for the team.

Paul Morgan tried
very hard but failed to win. |
Mr Happy suggested
that the Saturday team pulled out of the league.

A meeting was held
and it was agreed to keep trying to find new members. |
Mr Tall was very sad
about the lack of interest.

"I've even tried
jumping off this cliff." |
That night, as if by
magic, a cockney character came to see Mr Tall.

"I can play anytime,
anyplace, anywhere" said Mr Cool. |
|
"And unlike you, I've
got friends who want to bowl too."

Mr Cool clicked his
fingers..... |
As if by magic, Mr
Cool had his friends join the bowling club.

It was Mr Small that
welcomed the new members. |
Mr Tall found that
yet again he could not sleep.

"We've got too many
members" he worried |
