FINANCIAL REPORT

Hilly House Bowling Club today announced a dramatic drop in profits since 2003.

The 2003 figures showed a balance of £1,334.09 in the club bank account but figures released today by the club's official auditors, Mick Hickman and Richard Bullock, showed the current balance to be just £2.23p.

A spokesperson for the treasury blamed the auditor's lack of fingers for the apparent shortfall.
